Shred Your Ex
For many, Valentine's Day is just a constant reminder of their ex. So we decided to show singles some love.
Brokenhearted Instagram users could post pictures of their ex with the hashtag #ShredYourEx and then watch them print live, directly into an industrial shredder. Needless to say, the Internet loved it, landing us on the front page of Reddit.
And as for all that shredded paper? Well, it was donated to a local animal shelter and used as eco-friendly kitty litter (naturally). Users slept well knowing they were helping adorable kittens relieve themselves on the sad remains of their romantic past.
The idea was simple. First, post a picture of you and your ex using the hashtag #ShredYourEx. Then, watch that picture print directly into an industrial shredder live in realtime on our site. These stunned newscasters do a decent job explaining our twisted creation.
